The Altivar Machine ATV320 product line is a range of variable speed drives designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact form factor allows vertical stacking of drives in machine frames. It operates with a rated power of up to 5.5 kW / 7.5 HP and a rated voltage of 200 V to 240 V AC. Its robust construction with coated class 3C3 printed circuit boards according to IEC 60721-3-3 enables extended machine availability under harsh environmental conditions. For example, at ambient temperatures of up to 60°C, without requiring additional cooling. It features functions suitable for the most common applications, including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with sensorless flux vector control. It also allows parallel connection of motors and special drives using the voltage/frequency ratio and static speed accuracy and energy saving for synchronous motors with open loop control. It weighs 3.5 kg and has the following dimensions: 150 mm wide, 232 mm high, 178 mm deep. These help machines meet safety requirements, whether used in conjunction with a Preventa safety module or not. These safety functions are configured with the SoMove software. The type of external accessories and options depends on the drive power. The product is delivered in three packages. It is designed for vertical mounting (+/- 10°) on a plate thanks to 4 mounting holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Machine via DTM. It is possible to configure, control, and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in the SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software component (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and complies with directives such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. for environmental protection.
