The Keyence IG-028 is a versatile CCD laser measurement system (laser micrometer) based on the transmitted light principle, which detects objects in the measurement range of up to 28 mm. It detects objects from a size of approximately 0.10 mm with a very high repeat accuracy of up to 5 µm. The sensor operates with a sampling interval of 980 µs, enabling fast measurement. Thanks to its large installation distance of up to 1.5 meters, it can be flexibly used in various measuring setups. With protection class IP67, it is protected against dust and splashing water, making harsh environmental conditions no problem.
