Der Keyence LR-TB5000C ist ein vielseitiger reflektierender Lasersensor mit einem detektierbaren Abstand von 60 bis 5000 mm. Er verwendet einen roten Laser mit 660 nm und erfüllt die Laserklasse 2. Der Sensor erlaubt individuelle Auswahl zwischen NPN- oder PNP-Open-Collector-Ausgängen sowie analogem Ausgang (wahlweise 4–20 mA oder 0–10 V), und die Reaktionszeit kann von 1 ms bis 1000 ms konfiguriert werden. Mit einer Schutzart von IP65/IP67 ist er gegen Eindringen von Staub und Wasser geschützt. Das Gehäuse besteht aus Zinkdruckguss mit nickelverchromter Oberfläche, was eine hohe Robustheit gegenüber Umwelteinflüssen gewährleistet. Das Gewicht beträgt etwa 160 g.
